Musings of a Mathematician

Thomas Dean

About Me

My name is Thomas Dean. I'm a fifth year graduate student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My advisor is Dima Sinapova. My research interests broadly are in Mathematical Logic and Set Theory, and more specifically in Large Cardinals and the Tree Property. Outside of math, I enjoy singing and drinking coffee. I'm trained classically as a lyric tenor, but also enjoy ringing some barbershop chords!

Here is my CV.

Here lies various lecture notes, math, and other things I'm currently working on.
