On the ergodicity of partially hyperbolic group actions
Abstract: In 1995, Pugh and Shub conjectured that ergodicity is $C^r$ open and dense in the space of $C^r$-partially hyperbolic diffeomorphisms. Much work has gone into proving this conjecture; this discussion will talk about generalizations of the latest results to the setting of partially hyperbolic flows, and more generally, group actions.
