The generation principle in groups of finite Morley rank
Abstract: We will discuss the generation principle which says that the connected centralizers of the involutions in a four-group generate the whole connected group. The generation principle is one of the core structural properties in the generic case and much of the quasi-thin case, meaning these identifications results make significant use while the proof requires the full uniqueness case analysis. We give a shorter proof in the case that G has no unipotent torsion.
