Some diophantine properties of Interval Exchange Transformations
Abstract: This talk will focus on some diophantine properties of IETs.
We will discuss the quantities $\liminf_{n\to\infty} n \, d(T^nx,y)$ and $\liminf_{n\to\infty} n\,d(T^nx,x).$ We will present results analogous to results for rotations and also present some behavior that does not exist for rotations.
