Resolution of Singularities on Toric Varieties
Abstract: We will look at the conditions under which a cone gives rise to a nonsingular affine toric variety, and then describe how one can subdivide a given fan into such cones, giving rise to a nonsingular toric variety with a proper birational map to the variety given by the original fan.
