Arithmetic of the critical orbit of $z^d+c$
Abstract: I will discuss primality properties of certain dynamically defined sequences, focusing on my work on the critical orbit of $z^d+c$. This work leads to questions on recurrence of critical orbits which can be analyzed via complex-dynamical methods.
