Completeness for differential algebraic varieties
Abstract: We will introduce differential algebraic varieties and the notion of completeness in this category. We will discuss how to determine if a differential algebraic variety is complete and potential applications of the fact. In the case of partial differential equations, we will discuss how completeness may be easily used to give necessary and sufficient conditions for the linear dependence (and more general notions of dependence) for elements in differential fields.
