The Turan normal order method and elliptic curves
Abstract: Let E be an elliptic curve over Q. For a prime p of good reduction, let p + 1 - a_p be the number of F_p-rational points of E.
Using a method of Paul Turan, we study the normal order of the number of prime factors of a_p, as the prime p varies.
