Analytic Semigroups
Abstract: A continuation of the Introduction to Semigroups Series. We will introduce the concept of an analytic
semigroup of type $(\alpha,M)$. Moreover, we will describe what it means for an operator $A$ to generate
an analytic semigroup and show that any $A\in\mathcal{G}\mathcal{A}_b(\theta,M)$ generates an analytic
semigroup of type $(\theta-\pi/2)$.
