Extensions of amenable groups by recurrent groupoids
Abstract: I will discuss a theorem on amenability which unifies many know technical proofs of amenability
to the one common proof as well as produces examples of groups for which amenability was an open
problem. This is joint with V. Nekrashevych and M. de la Salle.
