Fibering 3-manifolds for Fun and Profit
Abstract: We will discuss conditions for expressing 3-manifolds as surface bundles over a circle; specifically a result of Stallings' and some aspects of its generalization due to Hempel and Jaco.
Time permitting we will also discuss Seifert fiber spaces. If not and no one wants to talk next week I could probably give a part II.
No investment strategies will be discussed.
