Graduate Geometry, Topology and Dynamics Seminar

Random groups are perfect
Abstract: I'll define all the words except "group" in the title, and then give a proof of it. Sneak peek: random groups are finitely generated groups with random relators, where "random" changes depending on model. Perfect means a group is equal to its commutator subgroup. This talk will have geometry, probability theory, and almost no group theory.
