Gaining two derivatives on a singular force in the 2D Navier-Stokes equations.
Abstract: It is well known that linear parabolic equations like the heat equation gain two derivatives on the force, globally. An analogous result is known for the 2D Navier-Stokes equations with a force that is "smooth enough." In this talk, we use classical and harmonic analysis techniques to extend these results.
