An overview of "A logical approach to asymptotic combinatorics" by K. J. Compton
Abstract: We give an overview of "A logical approach to asymptotic combinatorics" by K. J. Compton. In particular we will discuss the main result of this paper, which gives sufficient conditions for when a family of finite first-order structures has various kinds of logical limit laws in terms of properties of the exponential and ordinary generating series of the family. We will also discuss many examples of families this result applies to.
