Effective cycles on blow-ups of grassmannians
Abstract: In this talk I will discuss some recent results on the positivity of cycles on blow-ups of Grassmannians. We will see some interesting pathologies, including an effective cone which is not finitely generated (assuming the SHGH conjecture).
