Meromorphic Connections and Monodromy
Abstract: In this talk I will go over the correspondence between connections and monodromy data. Specifically, we will focus on the case of meromorphic connections and the Riemann-Hilbert correspondence. This will be the first of two talks. In the second talk, I hope to explain the notion of extended monodromy (Stokes) data and the so-called irregular Riemann-Hilbert or Riemann-Hilbert-Birkhoff correspondence.
