Cell decomposition in o-minimal structures
Abstract: This week, we will cover the fundamental theorem of o-minimal structures: every definable set has a finite decomposition into sets called cells, which have very nice properties (for instance very nice topological properties).
Key points we will touch on are: how nice the cells can be chosen, how the decomposition varies in families, and applications of these ideas.
