The subconvexity problem in higher rank
Abstract: I will recall the subconvexity problem for L-functions on $\text{GL}_n$,
and describe some of its applications.
I will then state a theorem of mine that is work in progress,
and gives a subconvex bound for a family of L-functions on $\text{GL}(n) \times \ \text{GL}(n+1)$
for arbitrary $n$.
The seminar lasts 80 minutes (9:30am-10:50am).
