From Clock + Tori Cayley Graphs to Core + Exotic Scales (With Guitar Demo)
Abstract: We use Clock Face + 3rds Tori Cayley graphs of (Z_12, +), relative to generators {1} + {3, 4},
to define and study scales for (say) a guitar.
(By the way, Cayley graphs are closely related to categories of elements, left or right fibrations,
and 2 simplicial sets.) We use cyclic partitions of 12, D_12 x Z_2 symmetry,
and the 32 North Indian Thaat/Mela to pick out our core + exotic scales.
