Embedding differential algebraic groups in algebraic groups
Abstract: Pillay answered a long-standing open problem of Kolchin's by proving that any differential algebraic group can be
differentially embedded into an algebraic group. I will discuss a simplification of the original proof due to Kowalski and Pillay.
