Entanglement Topology and Tensor Networks
Abstract: We show how to augment a physical space (as topological space) associated with a quantum state tensor network to form a new topological space where entanglement is realized as topological connection. This provides a means to discuss the Susskind Hypothesis whose slogan is ER = EPR (Einstein Rosen Bridge = Einstein Podolsky Rosen quantum action at a distance). In other words Susskind suggests that non-locality is equivalent to topological connectivity. We go to the roots of this idea and discuss the connectivity concept in terms of the Heyting algebra associated with the open sets in a topological space. We speculate on how this foundational approach might be related to the topology of wormholes and "actual" ER.
