Vassiliev invariants of rotational virtual knots
Abstract: Rotational virtual knots were introduced by L. Kauffman to facilitate the introduction of universal quantum invariants to the setting of virtual links. It is well-known that quantum invariants give rise to power series of Vassiliev invariants, motivating the study of Vassiliev invariants of rotational virtual knots. In this talk we recall the definition of universal quantum invariants and discuss Vassiliev invariants and chord diagrams of rotational virtuals. Afterwards we give a generalization of quantum invariants of rotational virtuals, informed by virtual chord diagrams. See https://arxiv.org/pdf/2208.10467.pdf
