Intersection number and intersection points of closed geodesics on hyperbolic surfaces
Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss the (geometric) intersection number between closed geodesics on finite volume hyperbolic surfaces. Specifically, I will talk about the optimum upper bound on the intersection number in terms of the product of hyperbolic lengths. I will also talk about the equidistribution of the intersection points between closed geodesics.
