Panel on "How to apply for academic jobs"
Abstract: Applying for postdoc positions can often be a daunting task. In a short presentation, Marcus Michelen will give a 10-15 minute overview of the basic logistics of applying for postdocs in the US: it will cover what materials and reference letters are needed; what the timeline is like; and some basic tips. The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer panel with James Freitag, Nicole Looper and Dhruv Mubayi.
