Parametrizing knotted surfaces in R^4.
Abstract: In this talk we will discuss parametrization of knotted surfaces inside 4-space using simple polynomial functions. We show that some special classes of knotted surfaces can be parametrized using the known parametrizations of classical knots. We emphasize on knotted ribbon tori and show that many non-trivial ribbon tori have nice parametrizations with polynomial functions.
